Famille Moutard Marc de Bourgogne launches at Systembolaget

Famille Moutard Marc de Bourgogne 3 Ans joins Systembolaget’s temporary assortment today through Biber Beverage. The release comprises 1,200 bottles, bringing a traditional French grape spirit to Swedish customers in a limited allocation.

Marc is distilled from the grape skins and other solids left after winemaking. Moutard’s three-year-old expression comes from Burgundy, connecting the spirit to one of France’s most established wine regions.

Based in Buxeuil in Champagne’s Côte des Bar, Famille Moutard works across Champagne, Burgundy and spirits. The family has a long history in viticulture, while its Moutard-Diligent distillery, established in 1988, continues an earlier tradition of producing marc.

The Swedish release adds a specialist expression from the family’s distilling activities to Systembolaget’s selection. Biber is responsible for the import and launch of the allocation.
